Being a Palestinian
Being a refugee
For over fifty years
I am so blessed
I wasn’t in the tank
With an army uniform
Killing and destroying
To frighten people away
“It was a barren land”
Later on to say!
I am so blessed
Being under curfew
For most of my life
I am so blessed
I wasn’t with the army
Erecting high walls
Shooting at civilians
At every check-point
I am so blessed
Losing my father
In one of their raids
I am so blessed
That it was not I
Flying planes of terror
Firing that missile
Then Laughing and rejoicing
The mission was a success
I am so blessed
Watching my brother
Being taken away
I am so blessed
I wasn’t one of those
Kicking till he bled
From his nose and head
I am so blessed
Burying my baby
With a bullet in her heart
I am so blessed
I wasn’t that soldier
Who took a baby’s life
Nor was I his mother
Who welcomed him a hero
When coming back home
I am so blessed
Sleeping in a UN tent
Shivering in the freezing cold
I am so blessed
I wasn’t that settler
Who occupied my home
Justifying massacres
With a “PROMISE SO DIVINE”
Then, tossing and turning
All night long
Wondering what’s wrong
Haunted by his deeds
Searching like mad
For a long lost peace
Which he can’t find
I am so blessed
Holding David’s stone
In my little hand
I am so blessed
I wasn’t giant Goliath
With mass-destruction might
Seeing himself invincible
With no hope in sight

We, English, Americans, Russians, French and Chinese stole your land and gave it to the Ashkenazi Bolshevik Jews and the Zionists!
And, we, Atheists, Hindus, Buddhists, Christians, Saudis, Collaborators with the Devil, Secularists, Humanists, Feminists, Marxists, Socialists, Capitalists, Communists, and Bank Gangsters do not want Palestinians to ever be free because we have a GREATER PLAN to rule the entire world from that stolen land!
But, as Muslims say, God is the Greatest of all Planners!

FOR A FACT, ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA’ALA IS NOT SATISFIED OF THE UMMAH OF MUHAMMAD, peace and blessings be upon him.
But, I am so happy to hear from you. Maher Zain has made me cry and cry and cry so much of despair as well as of happiness. At my age I am getting over sensitive.
Yes, we lie to ourselves.
We consume like mad people.
Yes, we have become individuals without souls.
And, everyday I am walking with my head lowered in shame because of what the Ummah has become, not because of the West or the enemies of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala, but because of ourselves.
I am struggling very hard to try and teach my grand daughters Islam in a heavily westernised, hostile and aggressive environment, and I pray everyday for Allah to protect their hearts and Imân. A purified heart is the only solution to our problems. The good news is that I am never alone and help from Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala comes in mysterious ways.
ALLAH subhanahu wa ta’ala is definitely not satisfied!

‘BA’ – grow up! Stop generalising about entire groups of people, many of whom, like myself, have always supported the Palestinians. (Even when many supposed Muslims turned their backs on them.) It is too bad you felt the need to take a beautiful, spiritual piece of writing and use it for your own political ends. I doubt you’d be exactly happy if someone grouped all Muslims together as ‘We the terrorists’, and so on. It’s attitudes like yours that help make peace so very, very difficult to achieve between people. The fact that you had the arrogance to preface your ignorant remarks with ‘We …’ speaks volumes about your hatred and lack of humility and real wisdom about people. Just more political cant and hatred, designed to make differences between people. Again: the fact you felt the ‘need’ to post it underneath such a beautiful piece of writing, only underscores your own lack of understanding. Nahida, thank you for a truly wonderful piece of writing.

If you know nothing about the RESPONSIBILITY of Muslim men, I mean REAL MEN, within the Ummah, then you better read a little about Islam before writing absurdities.
I am not here to CRY over Palestine! There is a Judeo Christian Crusade started a long time ago against Muslims, Islam and Arabs. Some ten years ago, I learned from the mouth of Christians themselves that a whole army of 40 million Crusaders were ordering Washington to go to war and destroy all Arab countries, destroy Islam and Muslims, in order to hasten the coming of their Satanic Messiah we call the Anti-Christ or the Dajjal and be raptured by Satan himself.
Recently, I heard from other Christians that they are 70 million Crusaders in the US alone! And they are running freely in all occupied Muslim countries, militarily, politically, economically and otherwise. Two of their prime targets are Indonesia and Nigeria.
” Nahida, thank you for a truly wonderful piece of writing.” This is good for pre-puberty girls to write, but not FOR MEN! So, please, have some respect.
I have known infiltrators on Palestinian websites to do exactly what you are doing right now because you are not stupid. Iqbal Tamimi will tell you what I mean!
