A Note To The World

Beloved World

Our determination that puzzles you, is inspired by the high morale and steadfastness of our people trapped under the savagery of your bombs.

Our defiant spirit that they cannot fathom or crush out of existence, is a reflection of our faith. Faith in an Ultimate Just, Ultimate Merciful, Ultimate Loving, Ultimate Wise, Ultimate Graceful Creator.

With every tear-filled smile we see on our screens, and with every fist of defiance raised to a tank or an F16, we receive love, hope and dignity, and pass it on to you.

The dignity and sumoud of our people on the ground, is moving the world to tears of hope and jubilation.

No expression, no language, no literature can translate the words of the mother holding her lifeless baby, saying: fida Al-Muqawameh“, “fida Abu Obaida”, “fida Filisteen”

The world stood in awe hands up, hats off before the heroism of the little girl whose face covered with soot, blood and bruises, saying: “fida Al-Aqsa”, “fida Al-Quds”, “mish rahleen, hoon baqyeen”

Stunned, the world stood solemnly in silence before the small unconscious boy, on his deathbed, proclaiming “Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar“, teaching the misinformed world the true meaning of “God is the Greatest“.

Talk about altruism, steadfastness, courage and love!

Our souls are for the Resistance”

“Our souls are for Al-Aqsa”

“Our souls are for Al-Quds”

“Our souls are for Abu Obaida”

“Our souls are for Palestine”

“We are not moving, here stay”

“No more Nakba, we live and die on our land”

“Al-Aqsa is dear, we are willing to pay whatever the cost”

“We are bouncing between two amazing graces, victory or martyrdom”

“We embrace our death, so our children may have a life worthy of living”

“Don’t you worry about us, we are alright, we have arrived, we are the ones who are concerned for you, we pray that you feel the tranquility and bliss that we feel”

‘Amidst the sound explosions, we hug our children and together we pray”

“Our children ask if they could learn a little bit more Qur’an before they die”

Indeed we hurt, badly

Indeed we bleed, heavily

Indeed we grieve deeply

But we never felt better

Such is the road to freedom

Such is the journey of Liberation

Beloved World

Palestinians are spearheading the global resistance against tyranny and oppression, leading the battle of justice and freedom, on behalf of humanity,
They are fighting not only to liberate their homeland, but the world.

They are fighting to restoration of rule of justice, against those who want to rule by bombs, wealth and might

They fighting for the liberation of minds, occupied by, mine, me, and I, transforming it into hearts of ours, us, and all.

They are fighting to put an end to wars of conquest and aggression, and pave they way to peace, respect and cooperation.

They are fighting against:
supremacy, injustice, deception, corruption, inhumanity, inequality, selfishness, tribalism, degeneracy, immorality, slavery, savagery, cruelty, and greed.

They are inspiring the world with invaluable lessons in courage, dignity, determination, endurance, steadfastness, love, and self-sacrifice.

I said it before and I say it again, our victory would never come by “learning” from the aggressiveness, pushiness, chutzpah and deception of the occupiers
I say no, our victory will come from the noble qualities of our ancestors and from the boundless love of our land.

Beloved World know, that where Palestine goes, you go

Never Fail to Fail

One of the greatest successes of the occupiers of Palestine is that they never fail in failing:

They keep trying to solve the problem they created by repeating the same mistakes over and over again, expecting a different outcome each time.

They fail to learn that in this universe, nothing is static, every thing is a flux. Change is the only constant around, that includes superpowers of course.

They fail to learn, that in physics, every action has a reaction.

They fail to learn that Balance is an intrinsic law of nature, just as justice is a human value.

They fail to learn that depravity can never produce beauty, just as a thistle seed can never morph to an olive tree.

They fail to learn that savagery cannot bring about mercy, as odd notes would never compose a Beethoven melody.

They fail to learn that being entrenched in violence, they can expect nothing but violence to ebb and flow around them.

They fail to learn that love is not a merchandise to be bought or a law to be enforced.

They fail to learn that you can not lie your way to truth, nor can you  bombard your way to peace.

Occupiers of Palestine

You have lost a century of wasted opportunities and myriad of possibilities of dwelling in a beautiful land, being embraced by a hospitable people.

You could have chosen to behave as decent human beings, change direction, cease hostilities, put down your weapons, feel remorse for the crimes you’ve committed and start anew.

You could have decided to feel remorse, seek forgiveness from the indigenous people of the land, then humbly and peacefully integrate.

But No.

Your supremacy stood in the way.

Your chutzpah, greed and overblown egos have proven to be your biggest enemy.

Your “chosen-mess”, the delusion of “holiness”, “moral and intellectual superiority” and the feeling of “invincibility” will be proven to be without a shadow of doubt your ultimate doom.

Your deceitful methods and relentless lies have earned them nothing but the disgrace and contempt of the entire world.

You have chosen the wrong place to invade

Targeted the wrong people to subdue and enslave.

Hey you, occupiers

Now, sit on the floor

Legs crossed, mouths shut, ears open

Sit and learn

Burying your heads in sands won’t help. You have done it far too long, and as you see, to no avail.

Covering your blatant lies with more lies will only make you the laughing stock of the world, alienated, shamed and ridiculed.

The love you so disparately seek will only be your dishonour and disgrace.

Sticking a label on a honey jar and claiming it’s poison, does not make so.

Hasbarising that Freedom Fighters are “terrorists” does NOT make them so.

International law, as well as shared human values grants legitimacy to any occupied people to defend themselves, and condones their right to fight back the occupiers of their land by all means available, including armed Resistance.

Throughout the history of mankind, the right of self-defence has been granted to those who have suffered wars of aggression against them, more so those who have dispossessed and whose homeland has been stolen and occupied. That right does not extend to the aggressors, invaders and occupiers of others’ land.

Hey occupiers,

Muqawameh is not a building to destroy, or a tunnel to flood, or a people to exterminate.

Muqawameh is an Idea that reverberates in the minds, hearts and souls of billions of peace-loving, truth-seeking, and justice-cherishing people across the globe.

Muqawameh is Resistance to oppression, enslavement and humiliation.

Muqawameh is a gasp for Life, for a suffocating people on the brink of annihilation.

Muqawameh is the will of a people to seek Life, dignified, honorable and Free.

Orwellian!

They want you to believe that defending the Palestinian people’s legitimate right to DEFEND themselves and to RESIST the occupation and usurpation of their homeland is “terrorism”, a “crime” worse than the CRIME of murdering almost 5000 Palestinian children in less than four weeks.

🇵🇸  🇵🇸  🇵🇸

They want you to believe that chanting “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” is a “hate crime”, a “crime” worse than target bombing ambulances, hospitals, schools, and refugee camps killing hundreds of innocent civilians.

🇵🇸  🇵🇸  🇵🇸

They want you to believe that holding the Palestinian flag is “antisemitic”, a “crime” worse than keeping two and half million people in a concentration camp, without food, water, electricity, while flattening entire neighbourhood on the heads of the inhabitants.

🇵🇸  🇵🇸  🇵🇸

They want you to believe that the legitimate Palestinian resistance to a seventy five years of occupation is “terrorism”, and the bombardment of two and half million people to smithereens is “self defence”.

🇵🇸  🇵🇸  🇵🇸

They want to you believe that “offending” the feeling of some-person, on his/her say-so, is far more serious “hate crime” than the slaughter of over almost 10000 innocent men, women and children in less than a month of constant carpet bombardment.

🇵🇸  🇵🇸  🇵🇸

They want to you believe that being concerned about some group’s sensitivities is far more humane than stopping the crime of Genocide and Extermination against another group of people.

🇵🇸  🇵🇸  🇵🇸

They want you to believe that some humans are more humans than others.

🇵🇸  🇵🇸  🇵🇸

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the name of love, truth, kindness, compassion, justice, peace, and tolerance, I invite you to come with me on a short journey, to explore and taste life from a different perspective. A perspective foreign and totally unfamiliar to you. A subjective and personal perspective of a Muslim woman.
As you probably can imagine, faith and spirituality are central in the lives of Muslims, as they do occupy a significant part in my life too.
Faith to Muslims is a profound awareness and a belief in the existence of a Supreme Creator, to whom belongs ALL Sublime attributes; Ultimate Love (الْوَدُود), Ultimate Truth  (الْحَقُ), Ultimate Compassion (الرَّحِيمُ), Ultimate Goodness (الْبَرُّ), Ultimate Kindness (الرَّحْمَنُ), Ultimate Wisdom (الْحَكِيمُ), Ultimate Awareness (الْخَبِيرُ), Ultimate Justice(الْعَدْلُ), Ultimate Peace (السَّلاَمُ), Ultimate Forbearance and Tolerance (الْحَلِيمُ)…etc.
On a personal level, faith gives me answers to fundamental existential questions that began raging and roaring in my head since I opened my eyes to the world and began to wonder. The idea of the existence of a God (a Perfect Intelligent Aware Creator ), as a meaningful, logical and rational explanation of my own existence, existence of life and the universe makes more sense to me as opposed to the idea of a “gazillion and one coincidences”
By far, I prefer saying “insha’a allah” (God willing) rather than “finger crossed” or “touch wood”. The former appeals more to my commonsense.
From that perspective, my default position is being in a state of awe, adoration and gratitude to the Creator of this exquisite, super magnificent universe.
Faith also is the framework that allows me to find my bearings in this mysterious existence, in any given situation. It is my philosophy of life and my moral compass, if you will. Faith helps me align my values with the Divine principles and attributes, some of which are mentioned above.
In Islam we believe that God’s compassion engulfs and overwhelms God’s justice. In our tradition, we trust that God’s love to God’s creation is greater than a mother’s love to her children.
So from that standpoint of love and compassion I speak to you, and from that perspective, I want you to know that I do not intentionally wish to hurt or to be a cause of harm to any one, ever.
With this introduction, I would reiterate my invitation again, kindly asking you to try to see the world from my perspective as a Muslim woman, even if it was just for an hour. So bear with me.
From an Islamic perspective, freewill is granted and hardwired in the consciousness of every human being. However, that divine gift comes with a inbuilt disclaimer from the Creator:
1) Do not use your freewill to cause harm to others, to life, to the planet, or to yourself.
2) Do not use your freewill to impose your will and ways on others (do not force them against their will, nor take their freewill away)
In order to respect and fulfill the conditions of the Sublime Creator, Muslims choose to limit their freewill and to abstain from engaging in certain activities or behaviours which might end up violating these conditions.
Beyond the universally acknowledged values of “do not worship idols, do not kill, do not steal, do not commit adultery, do not bear false witness….etc”, Islam also advocates for the abstinence from usury, drinking alcohol, eating pork, exposing nudity, pornography, sexual relationships outside marriage, same-sex relationships, eating & drinking during Ramadan, backbiting…etc.
These limitations, or “forbidden” deeds are called “haram“, or sins, because they are viewed as harmful either to others, to society, to life, to the planet or to oneself.
Furthermore, Islam directs its followers to use their freewill in acts which fulfill the purpose of his/her creation, as a caretaker, a khalifa (meaning caretaker) who benefits others, protects the planet and cherishes life in all its forms.
You may wonder what is so harmful about two consenting same-sex adults engaging in an intimate relationship?
Such relationships are detrimental to the continuation of procreation, thus harmful to life and its natural flow. Moreover, and without being graphic or going into details, health and hygiene do not exactly fair well or thrive and may even be harmed.
Muslims are advised with an extensive and detailed code of ethics in the Qur’an, which draws the boundaries of their freewill, beyond which violation of others’ may occur. However, like all free-willed human beings, Muslims make their own choices in life whether to respect these recommendations or not.
In general, practicing Muslims abstain from committing these sins, and try not to violate them, Naturally, some Muslims do.
When Muslims choose not to abstain from what we call sinful acts, they are exercising their freewill, they can still call themselves Muslims, however, they are Muslims who commit sinful acts. Even though they have the right to use their freewill to sin, however, they have no right to demand that Islam must change its code of ethics to suit their whims and desires. They have no right to demand that consuming alcohol and pork, backbiting, unregulated sexual behaviours, pornography, adultery, and usury, must become “good deeds”, applauded and celebrated.
If you are unhappy with these self-imposed regulations, don’t follow them. If you don’t like a club’s rules, don’t demand changing them, practice your freewill and leave the club and start your own.
Moreover, Muslims have no right to enforce their rules or values on other peoples. They have no legal or moral right to impose their code of ethics on others.
When people point to Muslims and demand that they should carry the rainbow flag and celebrate the gay-pride parades, it is exactly like asking Muslims to eat pork, go to pubs, become drunk or praise drunks for their wonderful way of enjoying life.
Demanding that Islam must change by accepting same-sex marriage, is like demanding that Islam should normalise the consumption of alcohol and pork, encourage alcoholics to drink more, or demanding that Islam should cancel Ramadan and make adultery an act of kindness.
When Muslims abstain from alcohol, pork, usury, extramarital affairs or homosexual acts, they do not force others to do the same. They just hold themselves and ONLY themselves accountable by abiding by their own rules and code of ethics. This is called tolerance.
However, forcing or coercing Muslims to carry a rainbow flag celebrating other peoples’ sexuality, demanding that Muslims change their ethics and be criminalised if they refuse, is exactly like forcing them to eat in Ramadan, drink alcohol, eat pork, or like forcing vegetarians to consume meat at barbecue parties. This is called tyranny.
Imposing your way of life on others, and demanding that they change their ethics and values to your taste is called harmful oppression, cultural imperialism and thought terrorism.
If I choose not to drink alcohol, don’t call me “anti-alcoholics”.
If I choose not to have extra marital affairs, don’t slander me as “anti-liberty”.
If I choose to wear my modest hijab, don’t call me “oppressed”.
If I choose to mother my children rather than chasing a career, don’t call me “anti-feminist”
If I choose not to celebrate your private sexual life, don’t label me a “bigot”.
You want to drink alcohol, you are free to do so, but don’t force me to drink.
You want to eat pork, you are free to do so, but don’t ridicule me if I don’t.
You want to celebrate your private sexual act in public, be my guest, but don’t shove it down my throat or my childrens.
You want to pretend you are born in the wrong body and defy the scientific reality of your physical biology, fine by me, but don’t impose your fantasies and delusions on my children, stay away from them, and don’t steal their childhood away.
You want your freedom to live your life, I want mine too.
You want your liberty to express your opinion, my right to my opinion is just as valid.
You want to carry your flag and roam naked in the streets, it’s your prerogative, but don’t expect me to be your lapdog.
To you your way and to me mine.
I am a free, sovereign human being who adores her Creator and cherishes her God-given freedom of thought and freedom of choice.
Therefore, your life is your business and my life is mine.
I refuse to celebrate a life of drugs or alcoholism.
I refuse to dance for promiscuity.
I refuse to engage in usury.
I refuse to handover my children and grandchildren to be groomed and sexualised.
Likewise, I refuse to celebrate your private sexual act, and I refuse to raise your rainbow flag.
Have You Ever, Seen a Father Like This?
It has been said
Every cup seeps out of what it contains
My father is an exemption
Trenched in sadness
Filled to the brim with pain
Yet always oozing fun and joy
A bundle of delight
Captured in a human form
Bouncing with elation
Sharp in his wit
A magnet of humour
A storyteller without a rival
A sparkle of light
Landed from Heaven
Intense… flowing poise and euphoria
Endearing to the oppressed
Fearless before the cruel
Gentle, yet audacious
Cheeky, mischievous, playful like a child
Adored by little ones
Charming to all around
Graceful like a scented rose
Awesome in his wisdom
Eccentric yet sublime
Serene in his demeanour
Modest in his splendour
Humble yet grand
To his curious mind
Knowledge is his quest and treasure
Learning, from cradle to grave
To his loving heart
Every human is his brother or sister
Every family is his very own
To his sensitive persona
Every person is a saint
Worthy of the prayer, “may God be pleased with you”
To his grateful soul
Every day is Eid
Every moment is anew, worthy of celebration
A smile-painter, life-infuser
A heart-healer, pain-soother
A magic-performer without a wand
A bright light in an ocean of darkness
Earth is much dimmer with his departure
But Heaven is glowing ever brighter
 Paradise is rocking with angels’ laughter
Are you an “antisemite”?
In today’s Orwellian world, you are an “antisemite”:
If you refuse to believe that Jews are “chosen”
If you believe that the idea of a “Jewish state” is by definition is exclusive and racist
If you believe that Robbery of an entire country is a crime
If you believe that Wars of conquest and genocide should be a thing of the past
If you believe that kidnapping, imprisonment and target to kill of children is inhumane
If you believe that no one has the right to build “their” country on the ruins of another
If you believe that ethnic cleansing, destroying Biblical villages, uprooting olive trees and demolishing people’s homes is barbaric
If you believe that no people or individuals should be above the law, even Jews, and that all mankind should adhere to the same principles of mutual respect to human rights, including Jews.
