How would one experience love

Without being spiritual to the core?

It’s not possible

When you love

You are bursting with curiosity

Teeming with awe and wonder

You see splendour all around

In the most unlikely places

And the most unnoticeable things

This beautiful feeling

Immeasurable

Irrational

Majestic

Real

Mysterious

Overwhelming

Defying all laws

Challenging all notions

Transcending all boundaries

Refusing to be defined

Making life worth living

Gives you a glimpse into the infinite

The unknown

The more deeply you look at the visible

The closer you become to seeing the invisible

As you board the boat of love

You embrace your spiritual-self

Embarking on a magical journey

Floating… following your destiny

Spirituality and love are inseparable… intertwined

Yes… you

Those magical eyes

When you’re happy smiling

And even when you cry

This mind of yours

A universe within

Fascinating, magnificent

By its very existence

But more so, its awareness

That it exists

That big warm heart

So loving, full of passion

Without even knowing how or why

Can you keep a secret?

If you promise,

I’ll share it with you…

Did you say yes?

Ok then… listen carefully

Your desire for love is an in-built yearning
To be with the One
Most Loving, God

Your hunger for justice is the innate longing
For the Supreme Just, God

Your search for peace is truly hunting

The Only Source of Peace, God

Your secret wish for eternity is merely a deep aspiration

For the Eternal God

Your profound fascination of beauty is purely awe and wonder

Of the One Most Beautiful, God

Your appreciation of all creative arts is simply admiration

Of the One Most Creative, God

Beware, don’t be distracted by signs on the way

They’re only means to get you by

Don’t mistake them for your aim

Otherwise; your harvest will merely be

Big disappointments and flat empty dreams

A heart full of sorrow confused and jeopardized

Carry on along the path

Your home and final destination

Is the One and Only, God

For… you are God’s very own

And I’d sail every sea that is rough to gather the scent at the lilac shores

I am humanity in the shape of human

So would I relax, while the chaste blood is being spilled!!

My universe was 2D

I could only slide sideways

Just about left or right

You walk in

Up… I pop… I jump

In so many directions

My cosmos is of ten dimensions

Free… I fly

Today

I was blue icy cold

My shattered frosty pieces

Rattled inside

You walk in

My spring blooms

Jasmine… lilies…

Tulips and azaleas

Today

I was diminishing

Fraying… fading away

You walk in

My heart… consoled

My smile… radiant

My soul… whole

Restored

Today… all was dull

Shrouded with gloom

Clouded by despair

With a touch of magic

Life is transformed

Even when full

Bites of hunger eat my guts

Clad with soft and silky garments

I feel bare, no clothes can veil

Wrapped up cozy in a home so warm

My shivering bones are bitterly cold

Snug and secure in my serene abode

In constant fear… ever terrorized

No health problems or complaint

Yet throbbing pains tear me apart

This being within is not only me

But all of those who roam the earth

Longing to be loved

Yearning to be Seen

No warmth … No shelter

No wealth… No health

No food … No haven

Fleeting in stealth

Longing to be loved

Yearning to be Seen

When a child lies in bed with hunger

When a baby dies for a droplet of water

When toddlers are torn with drones to pieces

Hearts of angels burst into flames… blazing fire

Souls of prophets split asunder

Heaven cries with rage and thunder

Wait man… wait

God postpones… Never ignores

Closing your eyes pretending not to see

God’s eyes neither snooze nor go to sleep

Tenderly caressing fathers who mourn

Watching over mamas who weep

NO… No escape

We are all to blame

No lame excuse can wash our shame

Don’t get me wrong, no offence intended

But truth can hurt and may even kill

Gazing in the abyss while staying still

No longer an option… You have got a will

Don’t go far searching for the truth

Look inside, search only within

Open your heart and sing my song

Praise the Sublime and join along

Who roam the earth

Dripping pain and sorrow

Arriving

Knocking at your door

Humbly kneeling down

Hands upraised

Face hidden with tears

Requesting of Your generosity

Appealing of Your kindness

Pleading of Your mercy

Shroud me with Your bliss

Wrap me up with Your pleasure

Shower me with Your blessings

Make no desire in my heart

Greater than being with You

No aspiration dearer

Than the bounty of Your love

Make me a mouthpiece of Your truth

A fingerprint of Your creativity

An ambassador of Your reality

Make me a pathway of Your certainty

A sign of Your authenticity

A whisper of Your inspiration

Make me a fountain of kindness

A lantern of guidance

A waterfall of honesty

A cascade of delight

Make me a footstep

Leading to Your splendour

Pouring out love

Watching all content

Feel the awe as you’re filled with joy

Swirl… twirls… jump… hop… and skip

As you chant with doves of love

Be amazed at the joyful breeze

Blowing through your dancing hair

Observe as child with a soul so tender
